Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit
So exciting is the preface to Hegel’s phenomenology of spirit that the forum has decided to spend a third week attempting to penetrate its mysteries. I am also suggesting two additional papers to aid comprehending the ideas of ‘concept’ and ‘science’, these being: ‘Hegel’s idealism: the logic of conceptuality’ by Thomas Wartenberg, p102 in the Cambridge companion to Hegel and ‘Science of the phenomenology of spirit: Hegel’s program and its implementation’ by Hans-Friedrich Fulda p21 of ‘Hegel’s phenomenology of spirit: a critical guide’
The meeting is in UL102 14:15-15 and the reading is available on request from gfreestone@lincoln.ac.uk (Graham)
