Santander Universities Scholarship

The University of Lincoln has teamed up with Santander Universities to deliver a lifechanging scholarship to one of our students.

According to research conducted by The Independent,  more than a fifth of young students at UK universities from the most disadvantaged social backgrounds drop out of studies before the end of their first year.

In response, Santander Universities has developed a new flagship scholarship programme aimed at breaking down barriers for students who are likely to face financial and social challenges during Higher Education.

For the successful applicant, the scholarship is worth a total of £30,000 over three years. £10,000 each academic year until 2025.

The Scholarship provides funding to support one University of Lincoln student from a disadvantaged background, along with training and development opportunities, to get them all the way to graduation.

Applications are now open for the Scholarship and will close at 11pm on 31 January 2023.
