Success for Lincoln’s Filmmaking Summer School

Filmmaking Summer SchoolBudding film makers from across Europe and as far afield as China descended on Lincoln last month, as the Lincoln School of Film and Media’s Filmmaking Summer School got underway.

Led by Dominique Webb and running for a third consecutive year, the two-week course offered the film-making enthusiasts the chance to learn from the University’s experienced academics and get a taste of higher education learning at a UK institution.

During the course the students took part in a range of workshops and masterclasses, providing expert, professional tuition in all aspects of film productions, development, screenwriting, producing, directing, cinematography, and sound and post-production.

Using the specialist equipment available on campus, they were able to put their new-found knowledge and skills to the test and each produced their very own short fictional film. They also enjoyed a field trip to the Warner Bros Studio Tour.
