Welcome Week is a one off, special time but don’t take risks with your health and wellbeing!

When you drink alcohol know your limits, look out for each other and if you’re not feeling well, stop drinking and seek first aid help.

Dial 111 if you think you or a friend needs NHS professional help or advice: http://www.nhs.uk/nhsengland/aboutnhsservices/emergencyandurgentcareservices/pages/nhs-111.aspx

Follow the guidance available from NHS Choices : http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/alcohol-poisoning/Pages/Prevention.aspx and http://www.nhs.uk/livewell/alcohol/pages/bingedrinking.aspx

A&E is for Accidents and Emergencies ONLY – don’t call 999 unless you really need an emergency ambulance – hospital staff MUST be able to focus on treating acutely ill people.
