Work has begun to create the University Strategic Plan 2016-21 and staff and students are invited to take part in the discussions to help shape it.
The Strategic Plan forms our institutional ambition and sets out targets as a University community. As with the outgoing Strategic Plan 2011-16, staff and student engagement is critical to the creation of the document.
Vice Chancellor Professor Mary Stuart said: “Our community is at the heart of the Strategic Plan and all staff and students have an important role to play in its development. The Strategic Plan 2011-16 set out some ambitious targets which we have not only met, but exceeded.
“We should all feel proud of that achievement and now is the time to decide how we can continue to build on our successes and establish ourselves as a Top 40 UK University. How we get there is up to us, and I strongly encourage the University community to engage in this opportunity to shape our organisation for the next five years.”
Staff and students can take part in the discussions through a dedicated website – www.strategicplan.blogs.lincoln.ac.uk. To access it, simply use your University network username and password.
The site details our current Strategic Plan, our benchmarked performance indicators and will also feature regular articles on the consultation process. You can add comments to the discussions (all contributions will be moderated) and find a wealth of institutional data to contemplate.
