Telefantasy and Society Symposium – University of Lincoln
The late Gerry Anderson is rightly considered by many critics to be the UK equivalent to Walt Disney in terms of sheer creative output.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Thunderbirds television series and to celebrate the wider Telefantasy genre, the University of Lincoln will host a one-day symposium featuring exclusive access to some of the industry’s greatest minds.
The VIP event includes Gerry Anderson’s son, Jamie Anderson, the editor of SFX magazine, Richard Edwards, Literary Agent John Jarrold, senior writer for Starburst magazine, Ed Fortune, actor and writer Shane Rimmer, and representatives from Telos Publications.
A full list of conference speakers and their backgrounds can be obtained by emailing Alex Anthony-Lewczuk by email, alewczuk@lincoln.ac.uk.
Tickets cost £45 or £25 for students.
