A student from the Lincoln School of Engineering has received an award for a project that showed the most promise in providing practical, innovative solutions in supporting the provision of sustainable energy.
MSc Sustainable Power and Energy Engineering student Glenn King, who is employed by Greenray Turbines based in Lincoln, was presented with the John Kelly Award by Ray Newell of Oakwell Management Services.
Glenn’s project investigated the recovery of low level heat energy, providing a solution which could have potential payback within 18 months.
Greenray Turbines provides servicing solutions to the industrial gas and steam turbine markets.
