Free public lecture by Prof Stephen McKay – 19 March

Professor Stephen McKay will give his inaugural lecture on Social Policy in Good Times and Bad: Inequality, Social Security and Family Change on 19 March.

The lecture is part of the College of Social Science Inaugural Lecture Series 2015 and is free to attend.

The lecture by Professor Stephen McKay, Distinguished Professor in Social Research at the School of Social & Political Sciences, will discuss the evolution of social security over the past few decades, and the role that research has played in settling the direction of change, or failing to do so.

The event takes place on Thursday 19 March in the Lecture Theatre in the David Chiddick Building on Brayford Wharf East at the University of Lincoln. Arrival is from 5.30pm for a 6pm start. The presentation will conclude at 7pm with refreshments and an opportunity for networking and to continue any discussions arising from the lecture.
