The Radio Academy has announced that Siren FM has been awarded “East Midlands Station of the Year 2014”.
The judges were fulsome in their praise; “An ambitious and bold station with a broad scope of content that has appeal beyond its student community. From in-depth debates and investigative interviews, to an accessible music and entertainment proposition, Siren works hard to deliver a well-rounded output.”
Andrew David, Managing Editor, said, “This is the equivalent of winning an Oscar or Bafta. This rewards everyone at Siren FM for all the hundreds of volunteer hours the team put in to make sure that we provide the very best programming we can. I am so proud of everything the team have and continue to achieve.”
