Dementia Awareness Initiative

‘Dementia Friends’ is a national initiative that has been set up to help people gain an understanding of dementia and the small things all of us can do to make a difference to those living with dementia.

Dementia is one of the greatest challenges facing our ageing society. People with dementia sometimes need a helping hand to go about their daily lives and feel included in their local community.

The initiative is being run by the Alzheimer’s Society, and you are invited to attend a session being held at the University of Lincoln.

There are two sessions running on the 7th and 8th May 2014 from 5pm until 6pm in MB3202, both sessions are open to all staff, students and members of the public.
