After two years of online events, the Pint of Science Festival returns to venues in Lincoln, where eighteen researchers will take to the stage.
From Monday 9 May to Wednesday 11 May, researchers from the University of Lincoln will be speaking at three venues across the city: The Pessimist, The Cardinal’s Hat, and The Victoria. Unique live experiments and demonstrations will be held each night in a relaxed environment.
Attendees can enjoy exciting talks such as ‘How to grow a moon’, ‘Mischievous birds in medieval miracle stories’ and ‘The pursuit of drugs and a better life’.
Also featured at this year’s festival is Creative Reactions, a programme where artists and scientists partner to produce incredible artworks inspired by scientists’ research.
Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from the Pint of Science website; www.pintofscience.co.uk/
