The internationally renowned Luminarium art attraction is coming to Lincoln as part of LPAC’s 10th anniversary celebrations!
From the Guggenheim in Spain to the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the monumental and interactive walk-in sculptures of Architects of Air and designer Alan Parkinson have astounded audiences across the globe.
Now staff, students and the general public can enjoy the unique sensory experience of Luminarium right here in Lincoln.
A monument to the beauty of light and colour the Luminarium is a feast for the senses. Visitors are transported to another world of cavernous domes, tunnels and pods, covering half the size of a football pitch and creating a sense of wonder and enchantment for all ages.
Visitors are invited wander, to lie down, to sit down and enjoy the ambience and the space. Many people find it a transformative experience, with visitors describing it as like walking through a stained glass window or being in a live painting or even like being inside a spaceship.
The Luminarium will be based in the rotunda area outside of he Minerva Building from Thursday 5th until Saturday 8th April.
Tickets cost £4 and can be bought on the day (expect queues at busy times), with a limited number of advanced tickets available for purchase.
