University Mental Health Day events

There’s just one week to go until University Metal Health Day 2025!

There will be lots of events and activities taking place across campus on Thursday 13 March for you to get involved with.

There a 3 events the team wanted to highlight for you that will be taking place next Thursday, and you can register your interest for them using the links below.

Laughter Yoga – 11am

Laughter Yoga is a great way of improving your mental health and wellbeing while having fun. You pretend to laugh, which then turns into genuine laughter! Places are limited, so register your interest using the link below.

Samaritans Talk – 12pm

Samaritans will be on campus to share awareness of the support they can offer for students. The talk is about Emotional health & wellbeing; what can influence how we feel, strategies that can help and the importance of asking for support.

Sound Bath – 2pm

Waves of soothing, echoing sound from traditional wind and percussion instruments, known as the ‘sound bath’ can help with stress and fatigue. Places are limited, so please register your interest below.
