On Saturday 17 August, the University of Lincoln and the Eleanor Glanville Institute will be supporting and taking part in Lincoln Pride.

Colleagues and students are encouraged to join in the Parade, to celebrate and enjoy a wide range of entertainment throughout the day at the main event. It is completely free to attend.

The Parade starts at 11.30am at The Guildhall and Stonebow. It will make its way through town towards the main event at Tentercroft Street Car Park, where the main event will take place.

If you would like to be part of the Parade from the start, please meet the team, all of whom will be visible with University signage, between 10.30am and 11am at St Swithin’s Square outside the former Angel Coffee House – directions here.

A secondary meeting point is also available for staff and students unable to take part at the start of the parade. For details, please contact internalcommunications@lincoln.ac.uk.

Join us for the parade, and then partake in our pride picnic!

The LGBTQIA+ Staff Network will be running an alternative pride picnic for University Staff and students outside the Isaac Newton Building on the grassy area after the Lincoln Pride parade on Saturday 17 August. We will join the parade as normal, after which, staff and students can either walk back to the University with us, or join us later.

Bring your own blanket, snacks and join us for a relaxed picnic.

Please be advised that alcohol is not permitted at this event.

If you have any questions, please email internalcommunications@lincoln.ac.uk.

Pride is a fun and safe space for all of our One Community to celebrate and we hope to see as many people as possible enjoying the day.
