A Workplace Savings Summit is being hosted by Cushon and the University of Lincoln on Thursday 17th November, both in person at Toynbee Hall, London and virtually via a livestream.
Following the resounding success of the University’s bespoke workplace savings scheme that financially empowers students, the event will lobby for greater government support and workplace change for those who may not meet automatic enrolment requirements for a pension or will be entering workplaces in the future.
Judges from the Employee Benefits Awards 2022 felt that Lincoln’s scheme had potential scalability and could be adapted more widely; the Workplace Savings Summit will generate discussions into achieving just that. Alongside this complimentary feedback, the judges bestowed the University with the ‘Best Pension Strategy Award’ and the ‘Grand Prix’ for being the most outstanding of all entry winners.
The summit will explore the future of workplace savings through a selection of speakers including Dr Alex George who will address the mental health implications associated with financial wellbeing. Students from the University of Lincoln will also be present delivering the final session of the day on what they will look for from employers to support saving and asking questions to ensure that discussions are consistently directed toward topics that matter to them most as the future workforce.
Intended to inspire and educate other employers and industry professionals across the country, the event will supply excellent take-aways to get your employees on the path to financial resilience at a time when money really matters.
