This week, the University will celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
This year’s theme of #BreakTheBias calls on all of us to actively call out gender bias, discrimination, and stereotyping; all of which can make it difficult for women to move ahead.
At the University of Lincoln we are coming together to showcase the work and achievements of our academic staff and graduates, and to highlight the important work being undertaken by our research centres and groups to help understand relevant issues and further equality.
