This annual showcase highlights the excellence of Lincoln’s undergraduate students who have undertaken real-world practical research with the guidance of an academic mentor through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Scheme (UROS).
For student researchers, this is an opportunity to present and showcase their research with the wider University community. There will also be an opportunity for you to discuss projects with the students who conducted the research and vote for your best poster design.
Projects will cover a broad range of research areas, from computer games to Sports Science – and beyond.
Examples include:
• Fantastical bodies and how to wear them.
• Understanding transitional challenges and their impact on student attainment and mental health: does ethnicity make a difference?
• Mental toughness, psychological wellbeing, and stigma toward mental health help-seeking in student-athletes.
This year we will be hosting the UROS 2020 Showcase event via MS Teams.
Date: Monday 23 November
Time: 12:00 – 1:30pm
The event is free to attend but booking is necessary. You can book here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/uros-2020-showcase-event-tickets-124269538535
