Winning films from a specialist UK film festival are to be screened at the University of Lincoln.
The Dyspla International Moving Image festival is an Arts Council England funded festival that aims to explore and challenge how audiences engage with the moving image. The festival was held in London between 14th and 18th March and showcased work by dyslexic and neurodivergent filmmakers – or filmmakers with a diverse range of cognitive functioning.
The festival’s artistic director, Kazimir Bielecki, is a graduate of the University of Lincoln’s School of Film and Media.
The winning entries will be being screened at 1.30-3pm on Wednesday 21 March in the Stephen Langton Building lecture theatre. The festival organisers will introduce students to the winning films and there will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the festival. All staff and students are welcome to attend.
