Second year students completing the BA (Hons) Fine Art will soon experience their first professional exhibition when a selection of their work goes on display at the Surface Gallery in Nottingham this Friday.
Titled Emerge, the free exhibition will combine work created in response to a medieval ecclesiastical site in Lincoln city centre, as well as a broad range of studio work, to provide a snap-shot of the exciting work of these emerging artists.
Varying in subject and form, from painting and sculpture to installation and moving image, the work combines contemporary issues and modern artistic practice to provide a fascinating display of art curated by the students themselves.
Displayed in the Project Space, Emerge will open to the public this Friday evening (13th January) and will run until Saturday 21st January.
